Wrap the clay on the outside of the foil cup, in a uniform thickness with one hand while continuously supporting the "pumpkin" from inside of the aluminum cup with the fingers of your other hand. Trim excess clay away with exacto knife while overlapping clay sheet to conform to the rounded aluminum cup. If you trim away too much, patch with pieces you have cut away. Smooth out lines and irregularities with gentle pressure and a small piece of wax paper. Pinch and roll the excess clay at the rim forming it over the edge approx. ½" into the inside of the opening. You can also roll the clay and cup on its side very gently (Caution: extremely light pressure only) with the palm of your hand to achieve a uniform rounded shape. The pumpkin does not have to be perfectly smooth or round. Most pumpkins have irregular surfaces and shapes. Shape and smooth the pumpkin to your preferences. Fig. 6 - 11.
