Finishing the Doll:  Use a marking pen or embroider her eyes in French knots or satin stitch (if you did not use beads), and her lashes and mouth in straight stitch, or outline stitch, as you desire.  You can paint her face with one coat of glow in the dark paint for an eerie effect.  The paint will not change the appearance of the tea dyed face
Measure and cut the roving, floss or yarn for the desired length, plus an inch or two for trimming, to go from one side of her head, up over the top and down to the other side. Lay the hair evenly over her head from the back crown to front hair line. Sew the hair to the center head seam with small back stitches and pulling them tight to represent a center part.  Holding up the hair, apply glue all over the head from the side seam to side seam and just under the sewn hair down to the bottom of the head where a natural hair line would be.  Spread the hair out evenly and press it down into the glue.  Make sure the back is arranged so there is no separation where the part begins at the crown.
If she will be holding pumpkins or other Halloween decorations in her arms, tack the tips of her fingers together.

Displaying the Doll:  You can hang the doll by the neck with rope or jute, pin raffia to her back, poke wire curled around a pencil into her back or use any other method you wish to hang her.  She will also hang from a door knob by her hands and arms.  She can sit on the edge of a shelf with her legs hanging over the edge or she can sit on a table with her legs crossed or apart with a pumpkin in between.  If she is used for sitting, she must lean against a wall for support.  You can make a stand of popsicle sticks, one or two for her to sit on and one up her back.  Tie her around the hips to the stand.

If she will be hanging, glue, pin or tack the fabric, oven baked, wooden or real mini pumpkins in her arms.  You can also have her hold Halloween candy, any small decoration, or simply nothing at all, with her arms hanging at her side!
