Stuff the arms and legs firmly from the top at the opening. To stuff the long thin arms and legs, roll the stuffing around the stuffing tool, much as in a cotton swab, so you have a long thin padding of fiberfill wound all around and about half way down the length of the tool.  Holding the wound tool with one finger, insert the end into the limb and gently push it down to the desired position.  Stuff the legs evenly from the toe to the top.  To allow movement at the wrist and elbow, stuff the arms only to the wrist.  Place a pin across the wrist next to the stuffing. Resume stuffing firmly against the wrist pin and stuff to the elbow.  Align the seams at the elbow, one over the other and place another pin next to the stuffing across the elbow.  Resume stuffing firmly against the elbow and stuff to the top of the arm.  When finished stuffing, remove the pins.   If you want her to sit on a shelf or table with bent legs, put a joint in the knee in the same manner as the elbow, by breaking the stuffing with a pin.
Assembling the Doll:  Turn the open end of the arms in 1/8" and pin them to the shoulders, making sure they are even and the thumbs on each hand is pointing up.  Sew them in place onto the top of the shoulders.
Align the front and back seams at the center of the top of each leg, one seam on top of the other and pin.  Next, lay the tops of the legs side by side onto the bottom of the front body opening with the body center seam in between the legs.  Lay the legs down the front of the body with the toes pointing over the top of the head.  Sew across the body bottom and legs by hand with a back stitch.  Bring the legs down into the normal standing position with the tops of the legs and bottom of the front body raw edges to the inside.  Turn under the bottom back body seam allowance and tack the back body to the front body at the center seams. Hand sew from the center seam tack to the outside hip seam, then back to the center tack and across to the opposite hip, then back to the center tack again and tie off. The legs will be sandwiched in between the front and back seams. The doll is now completely assembled and ready for clothing.
