- Transfer the mouth, eye, arm and leg slit marks to the fabric.
- Open up the fabric, fur side down. Turn the pattern over and reposition it on the fabric back to match the first tracing at the bottom line and the top fold line. Trace the other half of the head/body. Again, transfer all the marks to the fabric.
- Measure and draw 4 rectangles on the fabric back, each 5" wide and 17" long. Make sure the rectangles are on the straight of grain and the fur nap runs down the length of the pieces.
- Cut out the head/body and the arms and legs, making sure you only cut thru the fabric backing and not the fur itself or the seams will be bald. Cut the slits for the mouth, arm and leg in the head/body.
- Place the pattern for the mouth on the vinyl and trace around it, transferring the sewing marks. Cut out the mouth
- Place the felt pieces together. Place the hand/feet patterns on the felt and pin or trace around them. Cut out the hands and feet.

Sewing: Seam allowance throughout is ¼" and is included in the patterns. Always push the fur to the inside with a pin or doll needle when sewing the fur seams.
Head/body:
- Pin the head/body with the right sides together all the way around the head and down the front.
- Sew head/body together starting at back of head at the fold and around to the top of the mouth.
- Break the stitching. Then sew from bottom of mouth to bottom edge of body. Leave the bottom open.
- Clean finish the bottom edge of the head/body.
- Pin the vinyl mouth piece into the mouth slit in the head, right sides together, matching the mouth marks at the chin, nose and side corners. Sew around the mouth from the fur side. Sew around again. Trim the seam close to the stitches.
- Fold mouth in half from corner to corner and sew across vinyl 1/16" from edge.
