Finishing the Wood Parts:
After the wood glue has dried completely according to it's directions, apply your choice of exterior wood stain or paint to the 3-tier piece, the 3" square piece which will be the chime striker and the 5 ½" square x ¼" thick piece which will be the wind catcher.

Chime Tubes:
Cut 4 tubes from the ¾" conduit. Cut 4 pieces, one 12" length, one 11" length, one 10" length and one 9" length. Drill two holes, one directly across from the other. Both holes should be located ¼" from one end of each tube. A center punch can be used to allow ease of drilling on the rounded surfaces. Carefully file sharp burrs from all cut ends and drilled holes in the four tube lengths. Sand or steel wool exteriors of tubes for an improved finish if desired.
