Open out the back and front. Pin the front to the back, right sides together, all the way around, starting at the bottom of one side, going up the side, down and around the arm and paw, up the arm to the neck, around the head and down the other side reversing the process to the bottom of the other side. Sew the seam. Leave the body wrong side out.
For ease in machine sewing, whip stitch the leg in the opening.
With the right sides together, pair and pin the outside and inside legs together. Sew the seams and turn the legs right side out.
Insert a right side out leg into a leg opening in the wrong side out body. Make sure the letters all match or the leg could end up in the leg opening backwards. The outside curve of the leg should be at the front of the body. Pin the leg in place.
Remove the pins so they do not interfere when sewing in the confined leg opening space. Machine or hand sew the legs.
