Cut out all of the pattern pieces making sure you cut thru the fabric backing only.  Do not cut thru the fur or you will have bald seams.  If you wish, using a scissor laying flat in the fur, trim the fur on the muzzle and two of the ear pieces so it is shorter than the rest of the fur on the bear.  You may also use a different color or type of fabric for these pieces for contrast.

Pin the two front head/body pieces, right sides together, at the head seam from the point on the top of the head down to the muzzle end.  Sew the seam.

Open out the head and pin the muzzle piece into the head circle matching the "E" and "F" marks on the pattern pieces.  Clip the seam allowance of the face to fit the muzzle, if necessary.  Sew the muzzle into the face.

Fold, pin and sew the darts at each arm.

Pin the front body right sides together, making sure the muzzle pieces meet exactly with each other to form the muzzle circle.  Sew the body together starting at the bottom and sew up to the tip of the nose.

Using the fabric pen, make dots for the eye placement to suit your taste.  Verify the eye dots are even in the head and with each other.  Punch a hole large enough for the safety eye shank in the eye dots with an awl or point of the scissor.  Try not to break the threads in the weave of the fabric, only to push them apart.  Insert the eye shank all the way into the hole.  Place the eye disk on the shank with the points of the disk pointing to the end of the shank.  Press the disk all the way down until the fabric is tightly sandwiched between the back of the eye and the disk.  Make sure it is not loose and will not pull thru.

Pin the two back head/body pieces, right sides together, at the head seam from the point on the top of the head down to the top of the leave open mark.  Sew the seam.  Pin the remainder of the back together starting at the bottom of the leave open mark all the way down to the end of the body.  Sew the seam.

Open out the crotch seams.  Pin the crotch seam with right sides together.  Sew the seam.
